First-timers who are MeetUp participants enjoy a day pass discount. $10 for a day pass without gear and $15 for a day pass with all the necessary rental equipment. The staff will also attempt to direct you to the MeetUp Organizer(s). You don't need to bring anything special to climb, but we recommend gym attire to aid in movement on the wall.
